Santa is coming to town! Henry Street Garden Centre near Reading and Seasons Home and Garden Outlet in Bridgend are using e-availability's Ticketing System to allow parents to book convenient times online for their children to visit Santa’s Christmas Grotto in store, and pay via a secure online payment gateway. Information such as the child's name, age, sex and hobbies is captured – Santa and his elves use this information to give great gifts! Henry Street Garden Centre will continue to use the system throughout the year for other special events.

New Ticketing System for The Kia Oval: Surrey County Cricket Club

The Kia Oval Surrey County Cricket Club logoThe Kia Oval, home to Surrey County Cricket Club, is one of the oldest Test match venues in the world, renowned as one of London’s premier sporting venues, playing host to international and first class cricket fixtures. After a search of online booking systems, Surrey CCC has commissioned e-availability to integrate a ticketing system into their website. The new system will enable parents to: search for available spaces on cricket coaching courses for their children using age, location and date filters; view detailed information about particular courses; book a place(s) online; redeem promotional vouchers; and pay easily and securely using PayPal. The system will collect the name, age and emergency contact details of each person attending each course, and allow the purchaser to create a password enabling them to sign in to their account to view or modify their booking.

New Room Booking System for Robertson Facilities Management

Robertson Facilities Management logoRobertson Facilities Management delivers FM services at the Centre for Health Science in Inverness. The Centre for Health Science is a hub for excellence in healthcare, biotechnology research, education and business development with six of the tenants all working in different fields of health science. As part of their service, Robertson approached e-availability to design and develop a room booking service for the tenants and external bookers. The new system will enable bookers to search for and book rooms (including block booking), select a preferred room layout, and add catering and equipment if required. The new automated system should save Robertson oodles of staff time compared to the current manual system of email communication to make room bookings. We look forward to the challenge of addressing the complexities of authorization and charging regimes for use of tenants' rooms.

Hamleys Extend Use of Ticketing System to Cardiff

Hamleys logoHamleys is one of the world's largest toy shops and the flagship store in London is a major tourist attraction. Using e-availability's ticketing system, parents are able to book convenient times online for their children to visit Santa in his Grotto at Christmas and Bunny Bear at Easter in the London, Glasgow, Dublin, and now Cardiff stores. Payments are taken online and additional information relating to each child such as age and dietary requirements/allergies is captured.
