New Appointments System for Groundwork

Groundwork is a national environmental regeneration charity. Home water and energy advisors, called “Green Doctors”, conduct home visits and offer practical advice to householders for improving water and energy efficiency, helping them save on their utility bills for the good of the environment. Groundwork employed e-availability’s appointment system to accept bookings online for Thames Water customers, as well as over the telephone. In the first 3 days of installation, over 175 appointments were taken, representing a 10-fold increase, exceeding all expectations! Phase 2 will involve implementing an offline database for Southern Water’s Green Doctors, running on the Apple iPhone and iPad, enabling them to book appointments even in areas with poor telephone reception.

Ticketing System for Orkney Science Festival – Sponsorship

e-availability is delighted to have sponsored the Orkney Science Festival in Scotland for the second year running. The Director, Howie Firth, was delighted with the ticketing system, "e-availability's ticket booking system is really superb. For an event organiser, a ticketing system is a precision tool like a saw for a joiner, and has to be chosen with the same care. We're a big festival, with around 3,000 attendances at over 50 events, and the use of the e-availability system has lifted up our whole ticketing operation. I reckon that by using it we are able to save at least one week of time in the festival preparations, and we get so many additional benefits, for instance we can operate bookings from as many sales points as we like. In addition to all its other advantages, it is also very user-friendly. I really think it is the premium system in its field, and that e-availability has a great future".
